@equity.ben: You can try to shelter your kids from politics… but unfortunately, they have ears. 😂 You can turn off the news, avoid political conversations, and whisper everything you don’t want them to hear… Meanwhile they’re in the next room like, “So… who’s running the country again?” 😂 Kids are ALWAYS listening. They may not understand every issue, but they absolutely know when something is happening. So I’ve learned: you can’t completely shelter them from the world. You just have to help them understand it, answer their questions, and occasionally remind yourself that nothing in this house is ever said quietly enough. 😂❤️
