@nicolejohnseyburke: This may not happen to you, but it definitely happened to me and I wanted to give you a little hope When our girls turn into teenagers, something in their subconscious, let them know that eventually they’re gonna have to leave the house And they may not be able to put words to it, but they’re trying to figure out a way to prepare themselves for that And one of the ways they do that is by pulling themselves away from us If you can keep yourself from taking it personally, and just see it as a survival mechanism, you can have hope that they will make it through this and you will too #mom #motherhood #motherdaughter #womensupportingwomen
