“You’re never gonna sleep again” was the biggest lie during my pregnancy. My son slept great as a NB and still sleeps great 2 yrs later. And tearing during childbirth too, like I only needed 2 tiny stitches, I was terrified of tearing and my midwife literally said “I really don’t even need to do them but I’m doing it as a precaution for you” the fear mongering around pregnancy and birth is exhausting 🫩

I'm convinced 98% of people have never seen a woman past 34 weeks pregnant in real life and that's why they think we're huge when we're in the late second/early 3rd trimester lol

I’ve never understood people making negative comments like this or sharing their horror stories. Not to diminish their experiences, but there is a time and a place for those discussions…not to a new mom! Honestly, while it’s not something you would choose to do every Friday night, it’s really not that bad. You look great and you will do just fine.
