I don't get the point of these, like with smart glasses they should have built on AR but none of them do, it's just another screen with an ai helper

Hmm just realized that if privacy really mattered to these companies over data collection at all costs they would make the camera pop up or have physical shutters that opened only when in use so everyone could without a doubt know when they’re active if they really want to include cameras

This maybe quite a good replacement. I have been listening to talks from low vision organisations about how useful smart glasses are for them. This maybe a good choice, without the creepy factor.

as a glasses aficionado who owns over 30 high end pairs of glasses with 8 being prescription. I can 100% say any pair of glasses that doesn't come in different sizes will only fit the heads the company wants them to fit and it won't be my Fred Flintstone sized head lol.
