@learn1anatomy: SCIATICA PAIN MAY NOT IMPROVE IF YOU KEEP TREATING ONLY THE PLACE THAT HURTS. You feel the pain in the buttock or down the leg, so naturally, that’s where most people focus first. But the sciatic nerve is a continuous pathway that travels from the lower back and pelvis, through the posterior hip, and down the leg. Stretching or massaging the sore spot may feel helpful for a moment, but that doesn’t always address what is keeping the nerve irritated. Poor loading, posture, movement stress, and too much rest can all keep the pathway more sensitive. The goal is not to stop moving. The goal is to reduce unnecessary pressure on the nerve and rebuild better movement tolerance gradually. #Sciatica #SciaticNerve #PhysicalTherapy #BackPain
