A Chinese American artist and designer, Rosie founded her Brooklyn studio in 2015, designing and manufacturing sculptural lighting inspired by nature and mathematics. Today, Rosie Li Studio brings together designers, engineers, and artisans to create its made-to-order work, building a creative business rooted in New York. For Rosie, that next chapter meant moving into a new studio space. Through the NYC Elevating Business Loan Fund, she secured the financing to make that move, along with one-on-one advisory support to help grow her business. Launched last year by TAAF and our partners @socialjusticefund, @redcnyc, and @nygov, the fund provides small businesses with affordable, flexible capital. In the first half of 2026 alone, it reached 244 AAPI business owners and deployed $1.8 million to help small businesses expand and grow.
