idk if ppl know this but its normal in china to have more than 1 personal phone so while yes the work life balance is wack they also dont mind giving out phone numbers for that reason 👍 (my uncle has 5 which is slightly extreme LMAO)

China spoiled me 😢 I’m in Germany to renew my resident permit and can’t feel the sense of service here. Feel like everyone is begging for things to be done. Long process and unhelpful staff.

I had the unfortunate or deal of having to go to the DMV. help my dad register his new car he bought. we had an appointment. they didn't take us until 2 hours after the appointment. when I had to renew my driver's license. I was there for 3 hours after my appointment before they finally took me in. it's terrible

I would randomly search online the names of the places we passed through, when using the high speed rail network in China recently, only to discover that, that was a city of 10 million people or that was a city of 8 million people. It was crazy, I'd never even heard of any of these cities.
