You know what’s better? Not coming home to shit on the floor. Not coming home to your shoes being ate. Not coming home to your expensive cables being ate. Not coming home to your couch being piss stained. Not being interrupted every 3 hours for a bathroom break. Not having to clean 10x a week to keep the smell in check. Meanwhile.. cats. Do litter box. Put food out. Entirely and utterly independent in everything else with zero upkeep and so much less energy. And before I get the “you just have to train your dog!” Yes. You don’t a cat. And all of the above WILL happen until the dog is trained. I cannot afford that in any capacity. Cat for life

Don't get me wrong. I still like dogs, but they really are a pain in the ass. I will probably never have one unless I have a yard, because I just do not have the time to walk them as much as they need and deserve. my cats are completely obsessed with me and it's mutual🥰
