there is less gasoline coming out of the earth per petroleum harvested.... meaning that as long as demand is high prices will continue to go up to keep going up. theyve attempted to counteract this by allowing more ethanol in pump gas, but this will just result in vehicles not lasting as long as they once did. there's no going back.. we're running out of gasoline
