I can't even tell you how much this fed my soul. I have been teaching for 500 years, and have also enjoyed the wholesome children this year. Also had the most epic Otzi the Iceman moment in class today that I don't have room to tell you but is amazing. Keep it up!

Ugh. I am struggling with year 17 with some 9th and 10th grade in art. Usually my favs. It’s like, they forgot how to play with materials and be kids? I’m gonna get em, just might take a bit. I loved hearing your shout outs- I’m going to steal that!

I feel like this last eclipse switched something up in the kids. This new year has been magical and I finally get to actually TEACH. For the last few years I feel like I have been strictly a behavioral manager trying to stay alive.

I teach High School online, and I agree. The kids are going to be all right. They surprise me several times a week with how emotionally intelligent and genuinely kind so many of them are.

I’ve only had about 1.5 days of content so far and I’m hopeful even with large classes (35 in ELA) and a new and challenging curriculum. Year 30 for me. The last couple years have been really rough.
