I’m from this area and that specific part of town has THE MOST home break ins and homicides in Kansas City. I’m not ruling him out but considering that fact and the sister and family not suspecting the husband. I’m leaning more towards her stepping outside to smoke or check a noise and she was assaulted and beat to near death. There’s a daycare next door and a church across the street that should have surveillance but it’s Prospect Ave so not likely. But I have friends who were mutuals with her and I pray they find justice for her. Btw KCPD is absolute trash can confirm

It’s all confusing. She slept on the couch because of a previous surgery, but she worked a full shift as a massage therapist? Did it appear that he had been drinking the night before? Did either one of them have a history of alcohol issues?
