Hi! I would maybe consider rethinking Margaret Kistner on this list. She gave inaccurate endo information and dismissed all my valid concerns. I immediately left and went to Dr Richard Cockrum who performed life saving Endo excision surgery one month later. My endo was almost penetrating my colon and if I would’ve followed her advice it would have been so much worse. She might be fine with regular OBGYN/birth control concerns but she’s not for us endo girlies!!

Annika Nielsen is at the same office as Dr. ossgood and I would 10/10 recommend both. Dr Nielsen delivered my first baby and I loved her so much.

Definitely recommend Dr Osgood!! She’s so good. I also recommend Dr Annika Nilsen, she’s also at northwestern medicine. She’s truly amazing!!!

Everyone at northwestern women’s health associates is amazing. Dr Morton is my primary and truly lovely but Dr. Panko delivered me recently and OMG I loved her. I saw the other docs at the group on this list while pregnant and they’re wonderful.

Dear Black girlies and advocates of healthcare being fair for ALL women, Dr. Constance Adams is a gem! I would trust her with my entire life if possible. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, caring, collaborative, and just all around a great doctor.

Omg! Yes x1000 to Dr. Osgood! She delivered both my babies & it was the smoothest pregnancy and delivery experience 😊 I have since moved over an hour away but if i have more kids I’d be willing to make the drive 😆

I would add Dr. Matthew King at Progressive Care for Women to the list. Best doctor that I have ever had. I’ve never felt so heard. Plus, the clinic does ultrasound assisted IUD insertions with helps make it less painful 😁

Dr. Cordia Clark-White is at Womens Progressive Health in the south loop. ive received wonderful, comprehensive, and truly empathetic care there. she’s a black woman and has most of the other nurses and practitioners there are black women as well. she works hand in hand with her patients, you will be heard and problems will be solved 🫶🏿

Richard cockrum should absolutely be on the endo surgeon list! He has fantastic bedside manner and has listened to all of my concerns before and after surgery. I generally am not a huge fan of male physicians but he has always gone above and beyond to ensure my comfort during appointments and even called over the weekend after my surgery to check in on how I was doing.

I second Dr. Sofia Buenaventura, at University of Chicago for our southside and south suburban girlies. I refer absolutely everyone I love to her, including my mom. Speaking as a fat, neurodivergent woman with PMOS!

Dr Annalise James at Chicago Women’s Health Group. She is comforting and clear but the entire team at the office including PA Jenna Scherer and Dr Rebecca Ochs Mercer have all provided great care in an emergency when I’ve needed it

I loved Connie Choi at Northwestern up until she told me “I shouldn’t be in much pain” knowing I had a golf ball sized ovarian cyst. No pain meds. Since then, other drs have apologized for that comment. 🙂

This queen treated me with more care and respect than any doctor I’ve been to. I told her I was nervous about my iud and she was an angel with anxiety and pain management pre, during, and post, gave me so much information, and let me go at my own pace. Really one of the kindest people I’ve met.
