As a twin mom (10 month old twins) I am constantly seeing those with one baby being able to bring them anywhere and I’ve really had to stop comparing myself to that because it is just NOT the same experience bringing two babies out and their schedules, etc.

Currently really struggling with 7week twins and a 2.5yo!!! I disliked the newborn phase with my first and it’s sooo much harder with twins. I’m constantly overstimulated, stressed and exhausted. I’m so grateful that we have lots of help, but I’m a sahm and so scared for when my husband goes back to work

omg bestie!!! I started following you when I saw you were also pregnant w/ boy/girl twins and I realized we were only like 2 weeks apart. I related to your content so much…. Then my babies were born and I was also down bad! Now I have a bit more time to catch up and I noticed our twins were similar in age and then I realized they were actually born on the same day 😭😭😭 April 3rd! So crazy!!!

When Im alone, I miss my husband but by the time he's home Im already so over stimulated I end up having attitude over nothing and I feel bad and he understands but the guilt still hits😭

I was always adamant I would take a full year that’s what we get protected here in Aus (not paid for a year. ) now I’m planning on going back to work in January when my babies will be eight months. For a variety of reasons but it’s what best. And I’ve been there saying imagine if I just had baby a he’s so calm and baby b is different so I get that comment 😅

My twins are 7 months and damnnnnnnnnn they are tough!!! We also have an 8 yo and 4.5 yo and woooooooow the difference is insane !! We do it! We’re super hero’s eventhough I’m overstimulated 29384% of my life right now hahaha

before I found out I was having twins I work for a daycare and wherever I was with infants I would ended up the day overstimulated but I was like damn I can have kids. Once I got pregnant with my twins I panic like how I'm supposed to do this?! Now my twins are 3 months old and I'm with you. My husband and I end up overstimulated and tired! I try to take it day by day since is becoming on a way easier 🫠 but for sure this is not for the weak. I love my babies but I don't I wouldn't though I would have twins not even when playing the Sims 4 🤣

Currently pregnant with twins and doing it solo. I am terrified. I have a 7 and 5 yr old and had a partner at the time and both newborn stages were hard with 2 of us. So time around I’m mentally preparing myself for the joy of 2 babies but also the hardships to come with 2 newborns needing me and being the only one there with them. LOVE the honesty ❤️

Heavy on the not enjoying maternity leave. 7 weeks in with boy twins. It's getting better but totally not the leave that is romanticized! I'm in the US and going back after 3 months. Sad and happy for that at the same time. Such a weird feeling!

My twins are about to turn 11 months and honestly cannot tell you the amount of times I have text my partner saying I am going back to work because I cannot handle being at home with the everyday!! They are finally starting nursery next week and although I will miss them, the relief I already feel to be able to have a moment to decompress without them is insane. My singleton mum friends just will never understand

I am here to tell you - as mum to 7month old twins- she is absolutely spot on. It does get easier in ways and you get some free time in the day, nights are challenging but once they start rolling etc it gets better

yesss to everything you said. no one talks about how hard and overstimulating it is all the time esp if twins are your first. you’re just thrown into the fire lol but always reminding myself it’s temporary
