I’m not sure if my friend likes me or is just really nice. He’s generally kind to everyone, but with me he seems a little more attentive. He initiates conversations, seeks me out, asks about my life and studies, remembers little things like my wheat allergy, holds my bag and helps with my books, and gets shy when I appreciate him. He offered to tutor me and said I could call him anytime if I needed help. We have inside jokes and spend time together outside studying. He also sent me pictures of his cousin hangout specifically because I didn’t have Instagram, told me to call him when I went to college, and has made some teasing/protective comments about me dating other guys, including saying everyone he imagined me with seemed like a red flag. So I genuinely can’t tell if he’s just a sweet friend or if there’s something more.
