No. That prank was one of the two kinds that I hate with a passion. I cannot stand pranks that can be described as a lie or an attack. Lying isn't funny. It's a bad, cruel joke.

I remember getting sssssooooo excited over a quilt. I loved that quilt so much. A few days after putting on the bed my now ex "accidentally " burned cigarette holes in it. He "fell asleep" with a lit cigarette and burned 4 holes in different locations on that quilt.. yeah.. was an "accident "

I've no lie done this to my husband because he was the first person I felt safe getting mad at and it wasn't fair but he understood and didn't hold it against me. Being in a healthy relationship is wild to a traumatized brain.

I like how your skits show how emotional dysregulation can be as a result of our experiences/trauma, but I like how you then role model open and effective communication skills. I find then when people explain that their dysregulation comes from their experience/trigger it can 1. Take away some of its power and/or 2. Mitigate the risk to their relationships

I normally agree with these skits, but acting indignant and never apologizing for the bad joke isn't a good look here. Not totally her fault there was an eruption and she did a good job backing down from it. "It was a joke" alone does not absolve the other side at all.
