One day at the hospital i worked at, I found the janitor looking at brain scans in a drs office. Upon inquiring discovered he was his towns main surgeon in Thailand, just wasn’t credentialed in the US. He was able to support his family better as a janitor here 😳🫶

We once had a temp teacher who was covering for a teacher who broke their leg. He was suppose to be teaching us but he secretly taught us how to play a bunch of instruments and signed us up for battle of the bands. Turns out he stole his roommates identity. His roommate was a real sub teacher but he had been impersonating his friend for his own agenda. Our band didn’t win but our parents finally got to see us perform rock music and accepted that there was more to life than just academics and classical music 👍🏼

When I was a kid my parents were going through a nasty custody battle and was my mom had to hire help to take care of us due to the extra hours at work. Turns out the old British lady she hired as a Nanny for us ended up being our dad. Best nanny ever

My new HR manager quickly became my new work bestie. We took all of our breaks together. Hung out all the time. Until 6 months later I realized she was my at the time husbands ex girlfriend. She knew who I was from day one. She then fired me while I was out with Covid. And then denied my unemployment bc well, she was the hr manager. I sued the company ended up divorcing my husband and now they are back together.

I was seeing a guy in my 20s who said he was a nurse. His roommates knew him as a nurse. When I met his mom I was alone with her setting the table and mentioned his job. She turned around and said “a nurse!? Is that what he TOLD YOU!?” She then sat me down and told me about his addiction and told me to RUN. I listened.

Hi so my ex husband and father of my kids / high school sweetheart, was a supervisor at a factory just across the state line in the next state … I eventually found out that he had everyone convinced he was a single dad and that I had run off and abandoned him and the kids and he raised them on his own. He even had a gf at work 😅 fun times

I knew a guy back in the day who told everyone (especially girls) he was a pilot. he had printed a fake license and would show it off ... In reality he didn't really work and played on a flight simulator constantly in his parents basement surrounded by trash and empty mountain dew cans.

not me but my ex roommate in my 20s dated a guy who paid for our cable, part of her rent, and other things...and said he worked for an airline....one day the cops came to our door and told us he was a scam artist who stole credit cards from his Job as a waiter.......I was sad when we started to have to pay for cable.

When I worked at a cancer center I noticed a new older man that started working there. He was maybe late 50s and no one would speak to him. He always caught me stuffing food in my mouth while working and would chuckle when he caught me (we weren’t allowed to eat at the desk). We were both in line for the restroom and I asked how he was feeling the job. We held a normal conversation and I made jokes. I spoke with my colleagues and told them that he was my new friend. My colleague then told me he was our new CEO. I was mortified! We then stumbled across each other and I told him why he never mentioned it. He said he enjoyed the genuine conversation and liked seeing the employees treating each other with kindness regardless of the title.
