@gialayn: send this to bro 🫵👀👀 . if you’re doing rdls and only feeling your lower back… you might not be doing anything “wrong” — you might just need to fix your setup 👀 the rdl isn’t about bending as far forward as possible. it’s a hip hinge, meaning your hips should travel backward while your torso naturally leans forward. try these cues: • keep a soft bend in your knees — don’t turn it into a squat • push your hips BACK like you’re trying to close a car door with them • keep the weight close to your legs throughout the movement • keep your spine neutral instead of rounding your back • lower only as far as you can while maintaining control and position • think about stretching your hamstrings rather than trying to touch the floor • squeeze your glutes to drive your hips forward and stand tall • don’t lean backward or overextend your lower back at the top one of the biggest mistakes is thinking “lower = better.” your range of motion depends on your individual mobility. If you lose your position just to get the weight lower, you’re probably sacrificing tension where you actually want it. 💡 the goal: create controlled tension through your hamstrings and glutes, then use your hips to bring yourself back up. try slowing down your next set and focusing on the movement of your hips instead of how low the weight goes If u made it this far check my ig highlights for more tips #rdl #rdls #romanianDeadlift #gluteworkout900.3
