I refuse a lot of medications because I have bad side effects but the doctors almost forced me to take them I don’t. I just get up and walk out of the hospital.

statins. because patients don't want the possi le side effect of joint pain. I then explain that not all have it and ask if they would be open to talking to the provider about other options to help lower their risk. most times they say yes because they know they were heard. sometimes they say no. either way they are heard.

Mostly patients when prescribed anti platelets .. Eliquis is ridiculously expensive.

depends on the setting. Nursing school rotation...the pill color didnt match the one they have at home. pharmacy: cost was to high. Dr's office: possible side effects were overwhelming

Allergies. 💯 I’m hesitant to take any new medication because I’m allergic to ALOT of things. And I’m still waiting for my epipen prescription that my allergist and PCP said I need🤨
