I’m not a lawyer so tell me if I’m wrong but it seems like the prosecutors focused a lot on what happened instead of proving Lindsey was sane during the incident. And some of the evidence doesn’t line up with the version of events that they presented to the jury. So their strategy is what led jurors to have reasonable doubt

The problem with your story…. “Oh so this is a pattern” is super important for a civilized society. People past crimes need to be front and center for trials of new crimes so juries can see the bad seeds that continue to make the world unsafe and make better decisions about where to store them

Well excluding information about the defendants prior murder is excluded under other crimes or wrong acts to prevent the prejudice of being presumed guilty in that situation, but it is probative that the prosecutions witness was immediately fired IMO. It deals with his credibility, which is an important factor for weighing expert’s opinions
