Thank u for sharing, I have been following u for some time now, in fact the first thing I do when I open this app is check my notifications to see if u have a new video out. Also I just saw a video today from the page that is about the shop u work at so yep I followed it also lol. I seen the scars on ur arm but didn't want to ask as I didn't know if it was a story u like to talk about. When I was 15 my dad told me to go out and put some gas in the burn barrel to burn the stuff he just put in there. What I didn't know was he had tried to start it already and there was a very small flame at the bottom. I got very lucky because as the flames shot up the gas to the can I through it to the side, it burned the can but luckily didn't blow up and I have no idea why it didn't. But that's all it took for me to learn, I'm 52 now and have never done it again nor have I let someone else do it if I was around to stop them. Hopefully someone will see this video and that will be enough for them to learn from and never make that mistake.

Thanks for sharing the story of your accident. When I was 20, I was starting a brush fire with gas. Doused the pile in gas, left a trail bout 10 feet leading away. Went to light it and threw a match at it and it immediately went up. A huge boom, and mushroom cloud. I had on Carhartt pants, a white wifebeater and a straw cowboy hat. I immediately tipped my hat down to protect my face, and backed up several steps, turned around and everyone says I walked out of a wall of fire. My eyelashes and eyebrows were gone, my arm hair was gone and I smelled like burnt peanut butter. Was very fortunate. Thankful it wasn’t any worse, and said a prayer thanking my guardian angels.

Comes with the consequences of owning something like that. It’s just maintenance on like anything else you own. Every vehicle has its ups & downs. Glad you see you conquer everything that’s been thrown at you. You inspire a lot of people.

Sometimes there’s gunk on the bars where the throttle tube sits and can make enough resistance to not snap back. Carb clean and rag and/or fine sandpaper
