You can’t show up for your family if you don’t show up for yourself. Be it to go out and remember you who are outside of the kids, a massage, a relaxing bath. The guilt will be there either way. Do what’s best for your mental health.

My youngest is 10, oldest is 15. I still feel guilty leaving my kids to hang out with friends. But it is so necessary. 🤍 You are the best parents & deserve to recharge & be able to “shut off” for a little while.

Girl, as a 3 time mom, your kids need you to see your friends. They need to see you be happy. Staying home too much and never getting out will lead to burnout! You’ve got a great hubby, maybe they need some bonding time with dad 😘

Please do NOT feel guilty for leaving the house. Your babies need you, but they also need a mom who remembers that she is a whole person outside of motherhood. You’re a wife, a friend, a daughter, and YOU. Go have coffee, go to dinner, see a friend, take some time for yourself. Loving your kids with your entire heart does not mean you have to put your entire life on hold. You are allowed to be a mom and still be you. ❤️
