Grandmother was a multi millionaire and told me it’s ok to live with boxes for furniture for a few years 😳 I had a child we had just bought a house and she literally told me to use the boxes as our furniture while she was sitting in a home worth more than both kidneys 😳

I remember many years ago I told my boomer dad I didnt get the job that I interviewed for and my dad replies with "Well did you give the hiring manager a firm handshake?" LMAO a firm handshake?! This isnt 1940, Dad. People dont get hired on the spot for having a good handshake🤣

Really though, this might be the only good advice they’ve ever given and it does work. Because boomers tend to be the managers too 😂 it’s my charming personality too, but I’m 3/3 when I’ve actually been able to do it.
