@btcbeyondthecase: In September 2023, 34-year-old Reyna Quintero was found dead inside her home in Caldwell, Idaho, with a gunshot wound to the head. A firearm was found in her right hand, despite the fatal wound being on the left side of her head. Then investigators noticed something strange: Reyna had apparently been in the middle of painting her toenails. Her family said she had plans to go out that evening, and prosecutors later argued that she had been preparing to leave when she was killed. Investigators also learned that Reyna had been planning to leave her husband, Francisco Torres-Rodriguez. What initially looked like suicide eventually became a murder investigation. Prosecutors accused Torres-Rodriguez of shooting Reyna and staging the scene to make her death appear self-inflicted. In May 2025, a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder. He was later sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 35 years before parole eligibility. Sometimes, it’s the smallest details at a crime scene that completely change the story. Reyna’s death wasn’t ruled a suicide. A jury determined she was murdered. #truecrime #crimejunkie #truecrimetiktok #fyp #truecrimetok
