I’m 62 and I’ve been working full time for 40 years. Before that part time jobs since age 14. Corporations don’t care. I work for a healthcare corporation- it’s despicable. We’ve never been offered a pension. Not ever. They know why people are burnt out- they just don’t care.

They know why morale is low and don’t care. They are betting on eliminating 1/3 of the work force with AI software, fear of instability in the economy, and that the difficulty in finding new jobs now will keep you there & keep you quiet. We’re going back to the 1920’s

Did the CEO get a raise? Somehow they always have money for raises and bonuses for the C-suite but they can't afford raises for the rank and file... when it's practically the same amount of money, just going to like 3 guys instead of 3000.

One year at my bfs work Xmas party (the company at the time was not giving yearly raises or bonuses) they gave a whole presentation about their record profits then had a showing of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. They gave employees fake "jelly of the month club" certificates in a goody bag with 3 mini snickers. Someone should've punched them
