They teach you how to breathe correctly. my brother said at first he couldn’t breathe either, but he calmed down and remembered what they taught him and then he started to breathe like he was supposed to.

Shame on the instructor!!! He could have stop in mid air, gave her some oxygen, and possibly even an IV, waited at least 30mins, then resumed the fall! This is just disgusting 🤢 that poor girl, she had no idea that she was about to jump from a air plane ❤️

This isn’t uncommon. People hold their breath in freefall sometimes and don’t know it. The key I tell my students is to yell if they feel like they can’t breathe. Freefall is less than a minute and everyone breathes normally after the parachute is open. Breathing is something you don’t think about and sometimes in that moment people think they need to breathe in when in reality they need to exhale. The yelling thing works. It’s a 120mph wind in your face but there’s air to breathe. People want to open their mouth wider and now you’re forcing more air in a bigger hole that just needs to exhale. It’s purely psychological not physical. People react differently in intense situations but this does happen and I stress to ALL my students you need to yell and it always works. Hope this helps

Same thing happened to me. No one tells you the force of the wind makes it hard to breath. I had to force myself to calm down and relax.

If you are scared.. just don’t do it 🤦🏼♀️. Iam scared of heights and I know this ca look like adventure.. but it’s not for everyone.. just watch others doing it 😅😅 that’s what I do and get excited for them and I feel happy 😆 I don’t have to jump my self

that happened to me, I couldn't breathe when we were free falling but I just closed my eyes and waited then he open the parachute and I was fine
