These salt & pepper pork chops have a kick to them with the hot pepper 😝 ~ingredients: * 6 pork chops * Pork chop marinade: 2 tbsp avocado oil, 1 tbsp shaoxing wine, 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tsp five spice powder  * 1 chinese long hot green pepper  * 3 cloves garlic * Neutral oil for cooking * ½ tsp salt * ½ tsp white pepper  ~instructions:  1. If using bone-in pork chops, separate the meat from the bone. Then, slice the pork chops into smaller strips (roughly 2 inches wide). 2. In a bowl, combine the pork chop strips and above-listed marinade ingredients. Mix and set aside.  3. Slice the long hot green pepper into thin slices, using a knife, or mandolin.  4. Thinly slice 3 cloves of garlic, using a mandolin.  5. Heat up a wok on medium-high heat with 2 tbsp of neutral cooking oil (I like to use avocado, since it has a high smoke point). 6. Place the pork chops into the wok, in an even layer. Sear the pork chops on one side for 2-3 minutes, until browned.  7. Flip the pork chops and sear the other side until browned, and fully cooked.  8. Remove the pork chops from the wok, and set aside.  9. In the same wok, with the remaining oil, add in the thinly sliced garlic and hot green peppers.  10. Toast the garlic and peppers for 30 seconds, then add back in the pork chops.  11. Season with an additional ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp white pepper, and toss to combine. Turn off the heat.  12. Serve, and enjoy over rice!  . . . #porkchops #chinesefood #spicyfood #DinnerIdeas #Recipe
