๐ฉ Send this to a friend who loves Begonias! ๐ ๐ฟ Begonia Darthvaderiana Propagation Method 1. Choose a healthy, mature leaf from the mother plant. 2. Cut the leaf cleanly while keeping a short section of petiole attached. 3. Place ONLY the petiole into clean water. Keep the leaf blade above the waterline. 4. Keep the cutting warm with bright indirect light and high humidity. 5. Replace the water regularly and keep the propagation container clean. 6. Give it time. New roots can begin developing over the following weeks. 7. Once healthy roots and new growth have formed, transfer it carefully into a small planter. ๐ชด GROWING MIX: โข 50% coco coir or fine peat-based mix โข 30% perlite or pumice โข 20% fine orchid bark 8. Keep the substrate consistently lightly moist, but never waterlogged. 9. Maintain warm temperatures, high humidity and gentle airflow while the young plant establishes. 10. Avoid harsh direct sunlight. Bright filtered light is ideal. ๐ฟ๐ค ๐ PRO TIP: Begonia darthvaderiana appreciates very high humidity, but stagnant wet conditions can encourage rot.
