@laurenpco: I cried so many times during our tour. So many heartbreaking stories. I still remember my teacher turning on the tv in 6th grade and watching the footage live, feeling paralyzed with fear. Do you remember where you were that day? #neverforget #september11 #nyc #911memorial
This should be a school trip because this new generation dont know or dont care!

Yes. I was 11 years old and I was waiting for my mom to come home. She was in a meeting at college. (In France) Never forget. 🤍

my coworker helped clean up ground zero and was gifted a coin by NYFD. Recently, he made his first trip back to NYC since. And he went to the museum and memorial. he returned the coin and donated it to the 9/11 museum. He was so impacted by what he saw down there he wasn't sure he would ever be able to go back to NYC. I am so so proud of him for going back and his donation. and connecting with others working at the museum - survivors and loved ones of those lost. My next visit to the city I will look for this coin there.

The “I’m going to miss you” in that second calls breaks my heart every single time. The realization that she’s likely never going to see her loved one just brings me to tears. All of these calls crush me but that one always makes me cry

I hate to say it...but maybe we need to remember again. Nobody cared how anyone voted, what color they were, or where they came from that day. We were all Americans, and we were all in it together. We've lost that.

The museum was overwhelming and heartbreaking. The airplane seatbelt got me. I was 22 when it happened and will never forget that feeling.
