Non-city people are so terrified of Milwaukee but it's nice compared to other cities. A coworker moved here from LA and of course ran into tons of posts about where not to live in Milwaukee. Once he saw those areas for himself when he got here, he couldn't believe that THIS is what everyone was making a big fuss about. Milwaukee's worst neighborhood is better than entire sections of most major cities.

It’s nice but it’s a small city and that’s why I didn’t really like it. But they have niche communities for a lot of different interests.

I love this!!! If people would stop acting like it’s the only city that has crime, and see the beauty especially along the lakefront, Milwaukee is such a fun place! I was visiting East Dallas last month and the area I was in had nothing to do! Urban area that was creepy quiet. It helped me appreciate milwaukee even more.
