tashreeb is a more recent dish, that tomato + chile pepper sauce is native to Mexico/central America. there are many cultures that uses sauce like Italian for example that don't know where it comes from and believe it's theirs. no hate just like to throw out that information for people

the entire table looks yummy!! I would probably try the fish and I'm not a fish eater (it was the crispy that got me). Do Iraqis also make fancy rice dishes?

Many years ago when I used to snow plow in the winters one of the places I had to go was called Masgouf grill or something like that I remember it always smelled soooo good, and now I know what they were cooking! I wish I had a chance to try it 😩
