Justice for Abby. I don’t care if it’s so much as a water toy no pew pew should be on school grounds. My district had a kid who had a pen shaped as a pew pew. The school day hadn’t even started yet. School went into immediate lockdown. Buses couldn’t let kids off. 10-15 cops surrounded the school bus the kid was on who had the pen. I’m sure the kids parent had to come get it. I didn’t hear anything past that. This teacher someone who is trying to teach these kids right and wrong got sh*t while doing her job. The school district can’t be held liable. BS! I hope Abby wins this case and can keep getting justice.

Old news. Jury awarded Abbey 10 million. But an award is irrelevant if there is no way to collect it from an individual who will simply declare bankruptcy. Good news for Abby. Apparently, the gross negligence by the assistant principal is an insured risk and she is an insured individual under an insurance pool, which is covering both her defense and liability.

I feel the principal certainly has some liability; however, when the teacher has that much evidence right in front of her, there's nothing that prevents her from calling 911 as well.
