BOTOX AND FACIAL DROOPING 🫣 We talk constantly about collagen loss when we talk about facial aging. But the face is not simply skin stretched over bone. That doesn't mean everyone who uses Botox will suddenly develop facial sagging, nor does it mean Botox is the sole cause of facial aging. Facial aging is far more complex. It does mean I think muscle deserves a place in the anti-aging conversation. This is one reason I use microcurrent. Microcurrent devices such as NuFACE deliver very low-level electrical currents through the facial tissues. I think of it as a completely different philosophy from repeatedly trying to eliminate movement: stimulate rather than simply immobilize.
