@saysdotcom: Drivers on the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) were surprised on Thursday afternoon, 3 September, after a 500-metre stretch between KM30 and KM30.5 (Klang-bound towards Kuala Lumpur) appeared to be covered in "snow". According to Malay Mail, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Sarudin Samah confirmed that the substance was actually soap foam triggered by heavy rain washing up residue from an earlier lorry spill on 24 August near the Kota Kemuning slip road. Although firefighters had previously used sawdust to treat the initial spill, heavy downpours reactivated the remaining residue around 3.10pm. Highway concessionaires completed a second round of cleanup by 4.58pm the same day, addressing slippery road concerns raised by motorists.
