"Build me an app that does X, Y, Z with A, B, C features and also..." Claude gets dumber the more you add. Context rot is real. The 10,000th token isn't treated the same as the 10th. Now I break everything into atomic tasks. One feature per session. /clear between phases. Never exceed 60% of the context window. Mistake #3: Trusting "Done!" Claude says "Done!" with confidence. I accepted. I moved on. Then I'd find half-finished code. Tests that pass but test nothing. Files that got renamed for no reason. "Done" doesn't mean done. Now I verify everything. If Claude says it's complete, I check the actual files. Trust but verify. These three mistakes cost me hours. Don't repeat them.
