@scottaltiparmak: The sooner you realize that cybersecurity doesn’t have a linear path, the more free you’ll be to actually get a cybersecurity job. If you want to be a doctor or a lawyer, there’s a defined path. You go to school, you pass your exams, you get licensed. Cybersecurity doesn’t have that. There are no rules. Technically, you don’t need a cybersecurity degree. You don’t need certifications. You don’t need some perfect roadmap. You just need somebody to give you an opportunity. And there are a million ways to make that happen. You can network. You can build practical skills. You can make your own projects. You can contribute to something. You can meet the right person. There is no single path. And once you realize that, cybersecurity becomes a lot less overwhelming. Stop trying to find the perfect roadmap. There isn’t one. Go create your own path and get the job.
