Outside of Ashville Al city limits are caves that were discovered when I was 16. I walked through and learned so much from the team from Univ. of Alabama. My parents had our boat and camper there. daddy was a st Clair co deputy guarding the caves become some trash bages ransacked them. Alabama powers closed these caves. They have been digging out creeks to make for bigger waterways. Hence, the caves opening face out to the manmade sleuths. There were caverns with the skeletons face down. I asked why, I was told by the professor it was because of dishonorable death. The bigger caverns had the people face up. I saw many things. Now when I ask, even the county government pretends not to know what I’m speaking of. I have copies of the news articles.
