@rayofhk: The real breakthrough in humanoid robotics may not be a better backflip. 😂 For years, robots have competed for attention through increasingly impressive demonstrations — walking, running, dancing, jumping. But industrial deployment changes the scoreboard. The questions become: Can it perform a useful task repeatedly? Can it operate for hours without failure? Can it handle unexpected situations safely? And ultimately: What is the cost per completed task? That may become one of the most important metrics in the next phase of humanoid robotics. Because technological capability and economic productivity are not the same thing. A robot can be extraordinarily advanced — and still be too expensive, unreliable or difficult to maintain to create economic value at scale. So as the industry moves from prototype → production → deployment, the bottleneck changes too. A robot doing something once is impressive. A robot doing it ten thousand times, safely and economically, is a business.
