This show was groundbreaking tbh. It’s the first time I saw gay representation in kids show with someone the same age as me coming out. It also was the first Disney Channel Show that dealt with unconventional family dynamics. I don’t mean like, divorced parents or orphaned children which, yes are different, but more widely socially acceptable and portrayed.

i lo e the people saying its a kid show... isnt this show geared towards older kids? like teenagers? like puberty age kids? and they barely even held hands, so its not pushing it on kids, where as cartoons and shows for kids have full on straight couples kissing and making all sorts of sexual jokes, which isnt a bad thing, until youre saying kids are too young for a gay character?
