In Muslim countries, they can choose to either take bible studies via a pastor OR just skip the class entirely. E.g. in Pakistan.

As a Jewish kid in school, I definitely got teased, but I was never ashamed of being Jewish. And when Hanukkah rolled around? Oh, I OWNED those kids. 😂😂 Eight nights of presents and eating all the oily foods—Chinese food, donuts, French fries, fried chicken, latkes… 🤣🤣 Like, sorry, but your little antisemitic jokes were NOT working on me. I was too busy celebrating for eight nights straight. 😂🕎 Little me was basically like: “You wanna bully me for being Jewish? Cool. I’ll be over here eating fried food and getting presents.” 😂

That's why I like Some Nigerian schools. In the primary and Secondary level, we have both CRS (Christian Religious Studies) and IRS (Islamic Religious Studies). In an academic area, religion should never be a barrier to one's life, especially to children
