I agree with your point of view and facts but I don't believe fajuyi plan that coup. was he aware of the coup before hand yes, was he in support of it yes, did he plan it? no. a lot of senior officers were approached to check if they were interested in the idea of a revolution in the country a lot of them didn't buy the idea, even Ironsi was approached but he didn't buy the idea of a revolution. the Mastermind of the coup was Nzeogwu and Adewale Ademoyega. was Fajuyi mark for death? yes he was. was he aware of the coup yes he was. was he the mastermind? no he wasn't.

My greatest worries about the Yoruba tribe is why they never asked any question about why the northern coup plotters had to kill their son ( fajuyi ) they could have arrested and separated him from ironsi if he was innocent, after all they had overwhelming number of soldiers to that. Yoruba never asked why general ogundipe who was next in rank after ironsi was intimidated and forced into hiding in other to install Gowon as the head of state . I swear these people are cursed people, they create different narratives to suit their different machinations.
