For anyone who thinks this is a good idea - go to Town Hall station platform 1 and change to Flinders St platform 10. But don’t use any of the interchanges. Exit the station at Collins St, and then walk to Flinders St station to platform 10. Do it when it rains.

They will likely plant 4000 tiny shrubs, i highly doubt they will plant 4000 actual large trees that might eventually offset the carbon footprint after 10-15 years.

I'm also curious if the carbon reduction from taking cars off the road has taken into account the rising update of EVs? with a project that's going to take 10+ years to come online there will already be a drastic uptake of EVs anyway...
