Agreed. As a woman who wants to be alone, I must say that all I care about is building a beautiful life for myself and my cat. Last time I was asked if I wanted a boyfriend at some point I instinctively replied "what for?". It feels unnecessary and even very scary for me as I am an abuse survivor and to me a "romantic" relationship also means my safety, peace and finances could be destroyed again.
