You cannot drive down a road here without sheriffs. They gang up 6+ pulling one car over. They def do not need more of them or more money. It’s a state mandate now, he has no choice or he can be voted out.

We should get DeSantis to remove him. DeSantis removed the sheriffs in Clay County in 2020 and a few others over the past few years. If Hardwick won’t listen to his constituents and has the audacity to keep asking us for $500,000 per year to operate mass surveillance we don’t want, he doesn’t deserve to keep his job.
