and bc they have put me in plat/gold lobbies (im diamond) and then when me or my duo team or match mvp, we get no performance bonus even tho we have no control of our lobbies

i played with my friend ranked after rank reset, played 1 game and alreadly valorant told us that we have differents ranks and we couldnt play other 4 games duo like why, i knew he will probably have higher rank but we should have still play those 4 games

I personally don’t understand why I have to go against ascendent players when I’m plat. It’s not like I’m getting 50rr by winning that game. If the game thinks I need to be going against higher ranks maybe make me a higher rank first?

The same happened to me. I climbed so fast from silver 1 to Plat 2 and since a month now, I am stuck in plat 2. I was positive every single game until I was Plat 2, then they decided to put me into ascendant lobbies as a plat, I went negative a few games, lost A LOT of RR and when they decided to put me back into plat lobbies, I only gained 15 (on lucky days 20) rr per game that I match mvped but lost 20+ rr the minute I lost, even positive and match mvp.. 😅 it doesn’t make sense anymore

Because queuing with them promotes rank manipulation. Having them in your game is just a result of hidden mmr

I genuinely think it’s cause Valorant doesn’t have enough players anymore and so they just find someone to fill that space on your team or the enemy team
