Why so much silence when serious questions are being raised about SIA’s investment in Air India, yet when Singaporeans are detained in China, suddenly there is a ministerial voice? If the Singaporeans are detained under Chinese law, let China handle its own legal matters. Singapore can provide consular assistance, but there is no need to turn every overseas detention into a political headline.
