Thats great. I'm partly agnostic and partly spiritual, not neccesarily religious though. I'm of the view that all religious people try to understand this complex world through a lense of their religion & are neither right nor wrong. Also I see just a thin line between science and spirituality. Things that logic can't explain seems spiritual until science proves it, just like how quantum science now explains matter beyound sub atomic particles. Also i accept that dimesions exist (spiritual or science). Say the human senses can perceive things upto a certain limited spectrum whiles animal percieve below or beyound the human limited spectrum. A dog or cat sees what a human eye can't see. Also some human have trained their senses and have heightened them, some Africanian worshippers are able to dance in fire & suspend in air

Our ancestors were right about god being in Nature than an actual individual. The tree gives us life, so does water and the rest!

I’m actually bawling going through the comment section. Nearly 10 years ago, I was a pariah mainly because of atheism. Today, I get to see thousands of people profess their disbelief proudly. We will get there eventually!

Most people I talk to seem to be fixated on the idea of God, largely because of a fear of the unknown that was instilled in them through their upbringing and cultural environment. This may explain why people are often deeply afraid of their own gods or religious doctrines but are not particularly frightened by the gods of other religions. For example, if you told a Buddhist that the Christian God would punish them in hell for not believing in Christianity, would they genuinely be afraid? Most likely not, because they were not raised to believe that the Christian concept of hell applies to them. Similarly, most Christians do not seriously imagine themselves spending eternity in the paradise or heaven described by other religions, they might even laugh at such an idea. The fact that people can be deeply afraid of one religion’s conception of divine punishment while being completely indifferent to another religion’s gods suggests that much of this fear may be learned rather than instinctive. I think, at a deeper level, many people are genuinely afraid of the possibility that there is some supernatural being watching them, someone who knows their thoughts and actions and who will eventually hold them accountable for their wrongdoing. I genuinely don’t know if this is something inherent in human beings, or whether it is something that religion and culture taught us from childhood. This leads me to an interesting question: If a person grew up completely isolated from religious ideas and was never taught the concept of a god, divine judgment, heaven, hell, or supernatural punishment, would they naturally develop a fear that some invisible supernatural being was watching them and would punish them for doing wrong?

why do Christians suddenly assume that someone lacks a moral backbone simply because they do not believe. it is possible to still be morally upright devoid of religious beliefs

I always wondered about this topic. Imagine the Greek and Egyptian gods are called myths; what if Christianity and other religions are just like that?

Fellow agnostic here, i wonder have you ever thought of other forms of religion which you’d go into if you absolutely haaaddd to choose. I like to entertain myself by thinking about stuff like that, I’d like to know about you. Some strong contenders for me are animism, confucianism and Taoism then again I also don’t like labels

the ability to express one's state of mind so freely is sacrosanct. life isn't polar, as in black and white. the real experience is within the spectrum between the polar points. your points of view are compellingly liberating and I applaud you🥰👍

On the question “are you anti-religion” I believe there is a replacement Believing in Humanity. Believing in humans and trying to creat the heaven they want on earth will make this world the best place to be. Imagine all the devision, death, chaos and trauma religions have caused in the lives of people, if the main goal was just accept everyone and work towards being good human beings this would be the best for the world
