@nepalin24hr: A powerful story has emerged from the viral house that remained standing amid the devastating Trishuli flood in Nuwakot. As violent water and debris surrounded the house, the people inside moved to the upper floors with little idea whether they would survive. Lakshmi Pandey, one of the residents, later recalled that she kept chanting “Om Namah Shivaya” in her heart while fearing that her family might not make it out alive. Her husband Prakash Pyakurel also said they were remembering God as they sat together during what they feared could be their final moments. The people trapped there were ultimately rescued safely.
