there's 0 way of knowing the outcome since we dont exactly know the strength of that spring, all three outcomes are possible

T.J.P Robotics :
When the green rope is cut, it moves upward due to a mechanical demonstration of Braess's Paradox. Before the green rope is cut, the two springs are connected in series via the green rope, forcing both springs to carry the weight on its own and stretch while the red and black ropes remain slack. Cutting the green rope causes the red and black ropes to tauten, shifting from being in series to parallel, in this parallel setup, the two springs split the load and each only supports half the total weight, causing both springs to contract and pull the rope and the weight higher.

with the green both springs are pulling apart, if you cut the green you can skip one spring at least

Springs are tied in a way that spreads the weight out more evenly across the springs instead of just pulling on the bottom it’s pulling in more ways

Currently it’s two springs in series, cut the string and the springs switch to supporting it in parallel. Makes sense to me.

Tommy :
If you cut the green rope, the weight is spread over two springs making the springs more effective pulling the weight up not down because the springs are more effective when they’re held simultaneously and parallel, not series

its physics the green string was causing tension in the springsso cutting it makes them retract

It goes up because the green string is holding the tension for the springs so when it’s gone the tension causes the springs to coil.

I think the string was pulled so bad by the small green one and when the cut it the spread the weight on two different ropes wish gave the string a space to go back

it goes up cause the weight is cut by half with 2 ropes.
