My dad always told me that men love being able to help with stuff like that. Lifting, getting things from high spots, and especially stuff they’re really interested in (cars, computers, science,etc.) it gives them a chance to show off and make you happy simultaneously. 🤷♀️

I can totally change a light bulb or do other things around the house, I grew up in rural Poland in the 80s 😅 but I have a husband and he is the man of the house so all those jobs belong to him and he loves when I ask for help

I mean it's all these games and nonsense that are played, like maybe just behave like a normal fucking person, not pretending you can't do something to achieve some other psychological outcome from whatever fuckwit guy you've paid attention to. like yeah men are assholes a lot of the time, but christ it is piddly stupid games and social tests that are causing lonliness as much as anything.
