my grandpap taught me to do this though he didn't put lemon juice it was just warm milk and cornbread with some either sugar or honey. I eat it to this day i love it and it reminds me of him🥰

My dad use to eat corn bread in butter milk it must be good cause there would not be a crumb left lol

My mom ate this, especially around the holidays when she’d have extra cornbread leftover from the big skillets she’d bake up for the mountain of stuffing. She loved it so much, always saved a couple of pieces aside so she wouldn’t miss it 😊
